Staff Wellbeing
Staff Wellbeing
It isn’t always an easy job we do. But we do it because we’re good, caring people.
Sometimes we need care too, and that’s what the A&E Staff Wellbeing Hub is for. Browse the links below and if you can’t find what you’re looking for that’s oaky too. You can always speak to your line manager for guidance or fill in the contact form here.
The Samaritans
The Samaritans offer a confidential and compassionate listening service for anyone in emotional distress, including A&E Ambulance Service staff who may face challenging situations in their day-to-day roles. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by the demands of the job, experiencing stress or anxiety, or simply need someone to talk to, the Samaritans are there to help. Staff can reach out to them at any time by calling their free helpline on 116 123, or by emailing jo@samaritans.org. This service is available 24/7, ensuring that support is always accessible, no matter when it’s needed. It’s important to remember that seeking support is a sign of strength, and the Samaritans are always ready to listen and assist.
